Merlin was playing youth football for SV Babelsberg 03, balancing his studies and enjoying football as a hobby.
Inspired to chase his dream, Merlin downloaded the Tonsser app, tracking his stats and uploading videos. He applied for a trial with Ingolstadt’s academy through Tonsser Undiscovered and, after traveling 500km to showcase his skills, signed for the club.
